We have made several changes over the past few months, and have also traveled to a few places. Please continue reading on to find out more about the latest activities at Fitango Health.
Fitango Health and Synchrony Financial Rock 'n' Roll Brooklyn Half Marathon
On October 8th, our Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Matt Morris, participated in the Synchrony Financial Rock 'n' Roll Brooklyn Half Marathon, and ran a total of 13.1 miles. The half marathon supports research for St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, and this year the organization raised over three million dollars. These funds help ensure that families who can’t afford the necessary financial liabilities will not be burdened with an overwhelming bill for the treatments, transportations, housing and/or food expenses.
We are on the lookout for more wellness activities, charitable events and other volunteering opportunities. If you have any suggestions for us, or if you need extra hands for your event, feel free to send us an email at email@example.com with Run Fitango Health in the subject line.
Improving the Discharge Process
Fitango Health has recently updated our platform offering with a full Discharge Process for Healthcare Facilities and other organizations, which can benefit from including a digital tracking application for their patient’s post-discharge. The process can also be signified using the Discharge Cards, which we created for the AHA Scientific Sessions exhibition in New Orleans, LA during the week of November 13th. The Discharge Card shows all the components of the process that are included in the Fitango Health platform making it an information and activity hub for communication between patients and their caregivers.
Fitango Health traveled to San Francisco on October 6th to attend the annual Salesforce conference, Dreamforce 2016. Fitango Health is excited to be chosen as a strategic partner with the Salesforce Health Cloud platform, in addition to being a Salesforce customer. We were also honored to present our Active Engagement Module integrated with the Salesforce Health Cloud Communities demonstration at the Industry Theater at Dreamforce 2016. The Fitango Health team also traveled to Boston on October 20-21 to exhibit at Partners Connected Health Symposium.
Coming up next in 2016, Fitango Health will travel to New Orleans on November 13-15 to exhibit at the AHA Scientific Sessions, and then to the Connected Health Conference in Washington, D.C. on December 12-13 (also known as mHealth). We will also be exhibiting at the annual HIMSS convention in Orlando in February of 2017.

Fitango Health and the Boomer Esiason Foundation’s Run to Breathe
On Saturday, July 16th, Fitango Health's CEO and sales & marketing team, participated in the Boomer Esiason Foundation’s Run to Breathe. In our effort to better the health of the population, we took to the pavement to encourage preventive health measures and to recognize those who are valiantly fighting chronic illness.
The four-mile race supports research for a cure for cystic fibrosis. Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a fatal hereditary disease that affects the respiratory and digestive systems. The race was instated by former NFL quarterback, Boomer Esiason, in support of his son, Gunnar, who is living with CF. The intention of the Run to Breathe is not only to fund research and a potential cure for CF, but to celebrate living and breathing while encouraging those affected by CF to incorporate exercise into their daily lives.
There were over 5,000 runners in attendance at the event, several of whom are living with CF. This year marks the sixth year that New York Road Runners, a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring people through running, has held the Run to Breathe. Fitango Health is proud to have been a part of the event, and we’re looking forward to next year’s. Until then, we’re on the lookout for more races (to indulge in some healthy, inter-office competition), charitable events and opportunities to volunteer. If you have any suggestions for us, or if you need extra hands for your event, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org with Run Fitango Health in the subject line.

Managing Your Health While You’re Away
Keeping up with dosages and vital reporting can be a hassle for patients while they’re in relaxation mode. Allow your patients the opportunity to relax and indulge with our population health management platform. We integrate patient engagement and care management to help you keep track of your patients, and to keep your patients engaged and reporting. With the Fitango Health App your patients can:
Make the reminder a time that’s best for you to be notified of your medications whether it’s first thing in the morning or right before you go to bed.
If you know someone close to you that’s super organized, ask him or her to help you stay on track! A little motivation goes a long way.
Report dosages back to your Care Team anytime, anywhere, and in real time with apps like Fitango Health’s app.

2016 Conference Review
The Fitango Health team traveled to Las Vegas, NV on June 15-17 to exhibit at the annual American Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) Institute and Expo held at the Wynn Hotel. It was a successful conference resulting in new, collaborative relationships and an increased understanding of the health care industry’s initiatives to improve the health of populations. We had a little time to have some fun too! Electronic dance music DJ and producer, Skrillex, played a show at the Wynn Hotel on the first night of the conference, and, as exhibitors at the AHIP Conference, we were granted free entry for a night of dance and fun.
On May 15-17, the team traveled to the American Telemedicine Association (ATA) Conference in Minneapolis, MN. There, Fitango Health announced its telemedicine module

within the platform. The responses we received from conference attendees and exhibitors were resoundingly positive, making us confident of just how relevant and necessary our patient engagement and care management capabilities are in the telemedicine space. ATA and Telemedicine Magazine held an event for exhibitors following the second day of the conference, complete with hors d'oeuvres, drinks and dancing. Fitango Health was the life of the party.
This year, the United Network for Organ Sharing Transplant Management Forum (UNOS TMF) took place in Indianapolis on April 4-6. Fitango Health announced our transplant-specific platform at the conference with positive reception. Transplant centers will be a key focus area for Fitango Health in the second half of 2016.
The annual Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) conference was held at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, NV on February 29-March 4. While we were there, we met Savonix, the neurocognitive assessment/brain health app, who is now our strategic partner. We were also featured in an article by Triple Tree as a result of our attendance. You can read the article here.
